UNGU terima piagam Duta GAUL (Gerakan Aksi Untuk Lingkungan)



Alhamdulillah nih aku dapet kabar lewat inbox suatu situs pertemanan kalo UNGU band pada tanggal 8 Juni 2010 bertempat di Hotel Borobudur, UNGU menerima piagam sebagai Duta GAUL (Gerakan Aksi Lingkungan) bersama dengan Audy dari Menteri Lingkungan Hidup Gusti Muhammad Hatta. UNGU dipilih karena lagunya yang berjudul "Indonesiaku" yang ada di Album teranyarnya, Penguasa Hati dan UNGU sangat bisa mewakili masyarakat di usia antara 15-35 tahun (Cliquers), dan saat ini bisa di bilang band papan atas yang punya banyak fans, sehingga dapat membuat kampanye tersebut sampai ke target usia tersebut. Lagu yang mampu menjadikan UNGU mendapat piagam tersebut ini niiiihh :

Hamparan alam luas membentang di jagad khatulistiwa

TEENAGERS HAVE TO SLEEP ENOUGH


Teenagers are a group of people in society who have a lot of activities. Start from studying in school as their formal education activity each morning, joinning lesson group or some informal organizations in the afternoon, helping their parents in the evening, doing homework at night, etc. This activities make teenagers lost their time to sleep or sleepless. Whereas in reality sleep is so important, not only for child and old people but also for teenagers.
Why? Sleep is important because it has profound impact on our physical and psycological health and also give opportunity to brain to do it’s own costodial work strong memories and establishing connection. There is a myth that the older the longer time’s needed to sleep. It’s wrong. Because, whether you are 19 or 90 years old, you need at least 6 hours to sleep each day. Why do teenagers must sleep at least 6 hours each day? Because time of sleep is divided to 4 cycles and every cycle spent time about 90 minutes, it means, we need time to sleep minimum 360 minutes. We have to complete 4 cycles continuesly because it supports good health and be able to maintain our good physical and mental health.
If teenagers don’t sleep enough, what will happen is lack of sleep of them or sleepless. Sleepless influences our brain functions and cause some disease like diabetes, hypertension, obesity and depression. The most dangerous from lack of sleep is sleep apnea, that is stopping breath during sleep.
After we know that enough sleep is not only needed by old people but also teenagers who are really really busy with their activities, it’s better if starting from now, teenagers make an agenda to manage the time they have, so they are able to know when they must do their activities and obligations and they are able to know when they must sleep well, 6-7 hours each night.
